Enjoy a night of seasonal entertainment
Hertfordshire country hotel, West Lodge Park, is putting on a night of seasonal entertainment with a Christmas concert and festive menu.
As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter our thoughts start drifting towards Christmas and all the fun and celebrations associated with that holiday. If you’re looking for a special way to celebrate the festive season this year, you might want to head down to West Lodge Park in Hertfordshire where soprano singer Emily Haig will be treating diners to an evening of song and entertainment.
Trained in both musical theatre and classical voice, Emily is a talented soprano who is known for her expressive and spellbinding performances. She is the sporting industry’s first choice national anthem singer and has appeared at Wembley Stadium no less than sixteen times, including a performance to more than 100 million spectators worldwide at the Emirates FA Cup Final. Emily has also performed at a number of other sporting events, including the Rolex British Grand Prix and the PredictorBet Ice Hockey Championships. Given her stadium pedigree, having the opportunity to see Emily perform in such an intimate setting is a rare treat.
An evening of entertainment
At West Lodge Park’s Christmas concert dinner on Sunday 16 December, Emily will be performing a full programme of songs, combining traditional classical pieces with festive favourites such as O Holy Night, Winter Wonderland and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – all of which are guaranteed to get you in the Christmas mood!
And event attendees are in for a double treat. Emily will be accompanied by Adrian Boynton – an accomplished musician in his own right who has won prizes in organ playing and piano accompaniment as well as being awarded the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Diploma – the highest award in church music.
As well as being treated to world class music, guests at this black-tie event can also enjoy a delicious menu created by Executive Head Chef Wayne Turner and his fantastic restaurant team. Dishes are based around seasonal favourites and include such delights as smoked salmon and cream cheese galette, turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding, and finished off with coffee and homemade mince pies. And if that doesn’t make your mouth water, we don’t know what will!
